23 Rare Film Negatives NIKKO TOSHOGU SHINTO SHRINE Crowds People Japan 1940s

These images are crazy good. Taken in the late 1940s to early 1950s. Showing throngs of native Japanese people and students admiring the majestic Tosho-Gu Shrine in Nikko under the canopy of gigantic trees. I find these photos mesmerizing.

These are not prints but images I captured from a roll of 35mm film negatives that haven't seen the light of day in almost 70 years. Hope someone else enjoys them as much as I do. These images of the negatives were shot with a digital camera against a light table. The color, clarity, and detail in the negatives are sure to be much better than I've been able to show you with this method.
