ESTATE COLLECTION OF 85+ 1920s & 1930s ACTORS AND ACTRESSES PUBLICITY PHOTOGRAPHS. This is a wonderful original collection. Fresh from an estate collection of photography this is an amazing collection of original photographs of actors and actresses from the 1920s and 1930s. Because back in the time period when these actors worked, they would sign with a legible signature, I was able to look up the names of almost all of these people. Some obscure, some super famous, and even some with stars on the Hollywood walk of Fame. There are 89 original photographs in the collection. Of the total, 9 of them are actually signed by the actor in pen. The other 80 (give or take) have the printed signature within the photograph. Almost all of them measure 7 x 5 inches with a few a little bigger or smaller. Most in excellent condition with just some small edge dings or minor creasing. The occasional photo has some small staining. Many of the backs are blank but some of them have an early hand written description of who the star is. Some have some printed description and others have a stamp that says if you send a quarter they will send you a bigger version of the photograph. Really just an incredible archive of original period photographs of many of the stars of the silent movie era as well as early talkies. CHECK THE PICTURES ON THIS EXCELLENT PIECE!!!
